Sr. Manager, Business Management Direct Marketing Apac Job Description

What will I be doing?

As a Senior Manager, Business Management - Direct Marketing APAC you would be responsible for executing your position's responsibilities in alignment with our Spirit of Service culture and driving company success through performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

The role Sr. Manager, Business Management, will be to provide business management support and regional accountability for the Hawaii and Japan call centers. Business management support consists of conducting financial analysis to improve profitability through ongoing reviewing of financial metrics while facilitating and executing budgets/forecasts on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis. The Sr. Manager of Business Management reports to the Director of Business Management Direct Marketing while supporting the sales and marketing leaders for the region. In addition, this role will work directly with the finance, accounting, legal, FP&A and other corporate departments on the accuracy and consistency of information, implementation and compliance to corporate policies and continuity of systems and procedures.

This position is responsible for participating in the creation and ongoing management of Marketing department budgets, financial forecasting and providing analytics on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis. Also responsible for input on compensation plans, tracking reports, projections, financial analysis, and capital spend. Participates in compensation plan review for manager and above as well as provides guidance on monthly targets for below manager level. Responsible for implementation of company policy to ensure site marketing departments comprehend and follow all such policies and procedures.

Other responsibilities will include conducting financial reviews, month end close, communication on call center financial results to key management personnel, review, execution and implementation of call center level standard operating procedures, and enhancement/automation of regional reporting. Provides support to local production leaders for tasks such as preparation and review of sales and marketing pro formas, new marketing initiatives, review of compensation plans, and regional expenses. This position will often work independently and must have excellent written and verbal communication skills that can span across both administrative and performance based functions. The Sr. Manager of Business Management position will be located in Pan Am Building Office located in Honolulu, but must also be available to travel to support the Japan call center and for occasional summits and leadership.

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years related work experience
  • Minimum 4 years of managerial experience
  • Multi-discipline experience across business functions; marketing, sales, operations, product form, branding, operations, finance, analytics, partnerships, etc.
  • Ability to build financial data as required in order to make strategic and tactical decisions.
  • Strong relationship skills and the ability to manage key stakeholders across disciplines with awareness of priorities and goals of each
  • Solution oriented; the ability to target and solve issues effectively while identifying new opportunities and approaches to programs
  • Ability to work independently; includes the ability to recognize need for involvement of other teams/peers and capability to effectively facilitate that collaboration
  • Branded Timeshare experience
  • Ability and experience in leading new programs/process or projects from conception to execution
